Another expansion was to build west-east relations. One of the central visions of CA has always been ‘all of Europe belongs together; unity in diversity’. In spite of great political difficulties an impressive network has been build from 1981 on in Eastern Europe. Thanks to wisdom, excellent contacts, the help of organizations and denominations CA succeeded in bringing each year appr. 40 - 60 delegates from the communist nations.
